"I AM SAFE" REMINDERS
I am safe. My mentor, Elder Vikki Johnson, asked her mentees to repeat this statement during a zoom meeting in July 2020. After a discussion regarding the current state of our country (ex. protests, Covid and it's impact on our lives, etc.) and what the future holds, it gave a sense of peace to repeat, "I am Safe".
There are several scriptures in the Bible that support this statement and can remind you of God's protection in your life.

Affirmation
I am safe. The Lord hears my prayers and knows about my concerns.
Reminder
This psalm represents a prayer for King David as he prepared for battle. David was aware of the importance of prayer and knew that the Lord was able to answer. The Lord was able to provide protection during the time this psalm was written. The Lord is able to provide protection for you today...no matter what you are facing in your life. You know that preparing for battle includes prayer and also commitment to prepare. Be intentional and committed to do your part to fight your battle. Be prayerful...the Lord is able to protect.
